There is only one real reason to install air shocks for your ZERO 10X e-scooter, that is the fact that it rides like a cloud cushion.
Assuming of cos that the already amazing stock spring coil suspension is not comfortable enough. Spring coil suspensions have a tendency to squeak too much and it may be too stiff and strong in terms of rebound.
There are many brands of air shocks on the market but the one that comes with proven pedigree and comes installed in many off-road mountain bikes and e-bikes is DNM. Taiwanese made, the DNM air shocks that fit the ZERO 10X rear suspension is the AOY-36RC as a top of the line shock. The AO-42AR is an entry level air shock that does not lock and does not have adjustable dual air pistons.
