A one-armed robot bricklayer from Western Australia, an all-terrain
electric powered skateboard and an app to show how hard you kick, hit or
throw a ball are among the winners of Australia’s iAwards from the
Australian Information Industry Association (AIIA).

The major award, the AIIA Innovation of the Year, was awarded to Balconi
Telecommunications for the Balconi Smart Torch – Global Live, a handheld
two-way video conference system developed for remote telehealth care…
