Articles appear almost daily, calling for a ban on e-scooters in New
Zealand. Now, after a man sadly died in Auckland while on an e-scooter –
although he suffered a medical event – it prompted renewed calls for the
scooters to be banned. The first time someone died in an automobile
accident in New Zealand, were there calls to ban them ..?
