The Penny High-Line Carving Board is the first in a series of new designs to incorporate a carving skateboard performance biard. The Penny company have adopted the Waterbourne Front Adaptor to their new boards.
The Penny High-Line board did skate well and did perform to the standard expected. However due mainly it’s smaller deck size at 29″ and very small 14″ wheel base it did not feel very forgiving. The foot stance required to attain this size deck and board’s wheel base makes for a unfamiliar surfboard feel. All in all it will work for the skater and carve quite well ..but in terms of its surfboard and surf training benefits that is unfortunately lacking.
