We were able to hit Cape Town before the South African winter rolled in (not that we’re complaining, they really need the rain!), but now it’s time to head back to the Northern Hemisphere and soak up some summer sun.

We’re off to Barcelona, where we met up with Sasha and the LightBros Creative team to make a killer video, exploring every corner of the city. From beaches and hilltops, to street markets and alleyways (and everything in between), the M1 takes you out of the car and into the environment, transforming you from witness, to participant.

Sasha said it best: “No more CO2, just a board coasting me through the city… This is how it should be”.

Roan puts our sample 159.4wh battery pack through its paces to find out what kind of realistic range we can expect. This is not a scientific test but should be considered when measuring range, as most people will use our boards in similar environments. Also worth noting we were using the 97mm wheels in this vid. We’ll do a controlled track test soon to compare the numbers and see what can theoretically be achieved from the battery. We aren’t sure when this pack will be ready to purchase, most likely within the next few months once the raptor 2.1 is in stock.

To complete our Mellow City Experience tour after riding in Hamburg and Munich the previous weekends, we ended it in the Capital, Berlin. This city is big, full lively characters and full of many neighhorhoods to explore. The old sidewalks are not ideal for rolling but if you know the right spots you can glide through some glorious locations that were truly made to ride your Mellow.
