Welcome to Episode 18 – wow alot to cover. First there was a demo ride hosted by Boosted board. We were able to test out the Mini S. Mostly positive feedback despite not using loaded decks or Kegals wheels.

I was then able to attend the Flatland sessions in central park. Longboarders get together and teach beginners how to ride. Very fun and I always learn something new. Lastly – we began a group ride, I know it’s short but dont worry it will continue onto the next episode.

BajaBoard Steering

We check out the steering on the G4 and G4X.

For its size, the BajaBoard is surprisingly nimble, with both models possessing a turning radius of around 2.5m. And this isn’t even on the maximum steering setup.

When setting up your steering, there is give and take. A board that is easier to turn is great for carving, but may be more prone to speed wobbles. A board that is harder to turn will be stable as hell at speed, but you may need to take that corner a little wider.

At the end of the day, the board can be set up to how you like to ride.
