Today’s Unbox & First Ride of iWonder’s new Cloudwheel’s Donut Conversion Sleeve Kit D105mm (Discovery model) was performed under the following conditions: Rider weight 93kg / Road surface dry bitumen Smooth to very heavy rough road, Beach car park with sand on surface / Temperature 25°C
These new Cloudwheel Discovery D105mm Donuts are exemplary and extremely impressive indeed. Having already enjoyed the original Green Fluro Cloudwheels black core model and the Blue D120mm Discovery models I was not really expecting similar feel being a thinner diameter … However I was actually quite overwhelmed and surprisingly taken back to find out they actually give nearly the same damper affect as a normal Cloudwheel. Not to mention the performance factor of the grip and the no loss of speed or braking. This Donuts provide the same feel as though you were riding a urethane belt drive 105mm street wheel … but they give you nearly the same rebound and damping as a 6 inch pneumatic tyre, these will now be my “go to” wheel kits for all urban crossover terrain feel on my old hub motors – Andrew Penman EBoard Reviews YouTube⚔️
