Thank you for purchasing our LED rope lights!
They have been tested thoroughly so they are guaranteed to work. However, in case the lights aren’t turning on whether during shipping or because the connection is loose, it’s very simple to fix.
WARNING
1. Please hire a certified electrician although it is fairly safe and simple.
2. The output from the adapter is 110 DC power so be careful not to touch the end pins.
Steps
1. Trim any extra wire that is hanging out or exposed. Those can cause short circuits.
2. Plugin the adapter and gently match the wire entry. The direction you insert matters. If one way doesn’t light up, flip it over and try the other way.
3. When the lights turn on, firmly push the sharp pins in the rope light along the wires.
If you can’t get the lights on in step #2, you may have to trim the end of the rope for a quarter of an inch to expose the fresh wire.
Connect tightly, even use tape.
