E04 – Ride alongside our SoCal riders and see what it is like to ride ‘hookless’ on the Summerboard!
Every Summerboard rider starts out riding with no foot holds during the learning process. Then after they add the foot holds (aka hooks), usually there’s no turning back, since the foot holds add so much more control and really dial in that snowboard feel.
We decided to mix it up this week, and challenge everyone to ride hookless since we are at the beach and the terrain is completely flat (We don’t recommend hookless riding on hills!).
