Is A Road Cyclist FASTER Than An Electric Skateboard? | Specialized Roubaix vs Maxfind FF

Some cyclists can produce a ton of power on the bike, but is it enough to take down a 1500 watt electric skateboard?

The Board – The Maxfind FF has a slick design with two 750 watt motors, a true swappable battery, and rubberized grip surface to go along with a flexible carbon fiber deck. It boasts a 17 mile range, top speed of 25 mph (40 kph), and weighs in at 20 lbs. It is surprisingly good overall and a great electric skateboard for under $800.

The Cyclist – Yours truly ! I will be riding my carbon Specialized Roubaix with a Dura-ace 9000 group set and the Hunt Sprint Aero Wide wheel set. I have a sprinter’s power curve, but is it good enough to topple the electric skateboard?

So how will I stack up against the Maxfind FF in a Power Hill Climb? We’ll find out on a Strava Segment called Blueberry Hill Road.
