Modified by a very famous chinese DIY e-skater – if you know him, great, if not – you may need to do some research. Start with “Six”
The #d printed ESC spacer was provided by an eskater in sydney while Liam from Electric Riders Melbourne made a copy of it
The spacer was used for the extra 10 cells, taking the CGT from 10s4p to 10s5p. The BMS is on top of the ESC.
The cells are sony vtc6 and the bearings are made by Bones
This board is obviously not mine. Kindly provided by a Chinese e-skater called Jeff who also has set up the first Evolve China instram account (link below)

This setup will not give you extra speed or acceleration. What it will give you is range and lots of it. And I like the board bumpers on the front by Evolve… keeps the edges from typical damage.

Now the wheels are red 100m boa wheels. My experience with these wheels has been great. When I was in New York a handful of people had them with mixed reviews. Due to the back New York Road, they did chip however no large cracks. The wheels are made in california and have their own method of production. These red boas felt grippy but not sticky. Felt like you had control over the road with the massive 65mm width and 63mm contact patch. The white lines around the edges creates a pretty cool side view and they do come in other colours. Check boawheels.com for full details.

This ride was bouncy yet not overly bouncy. My feet felt great with hardly any fatigue. The board felt strong, safe and reliable – however there was one time when I was cruising a lot at almost top speed where I released the throttle and felt a massive jerk – almost sending me off. Luckily I have gone through a fair bit of this in my time and was OK.

My truck setup was slightly loose yet comfortable. I was able to achieve a top speed of 35KM/H and here’s where I went on a map you can gain using the relive app.

I went 13.1km at an average speed of 26km/h in 30 mins. And as you can see, my battery life still had about 80% remaining which is excellent. If it stood up given this data, I should achieve over 50KM range.
