Today’s Unbox of the Tranzite Hybrid Carbon Direct Drive is quite a epic vid, due to the simple fact that I purchased this board on a prior trial test ride. Tranzite Boards located in Maroubra Sydney has been in the game for over 6 years and is now producing some of the most sophisticated and well built direct drives anywhere in the world. The hybrid carbon is available via the Tranzite website where you can actually opt for either the flat carbon Matt finish or the shiny Epoxy glass finish, however that also will be limited to stock availability.
“At first glance the Tranzite Hybrid Carbon is a solid big EBoard coming in with a 10 1/2" width and nearly 40" in length it is a beast of a board weighing in at over 10.2 kg. The carve on these trucks is pretty much near perfection and allows for a deep carve arc with a nice G force applied hold coming in to position you in well. For a direct drive hub motors of the Carbon performs respectfully on reasonably steep hills and is at its best and forte on a flat open areas.
