Today’s Tranzite Long-Range Distance Test on the Tranzite DD SS Series was a very interesting result. The conditions were not a flat route and I had some significant early hills on the ride. The Battery configuration of a 10S5P Samsung 30Q with 1,600w x 2 Direct Drive and Custom Hobbywing ESC provides an astounding result.
The average speed is always corrupted due to the time stopping filming and having a break but generally I was sitting on 30 to 34km/h on every main straight. The motors didn’t even get hot only warm the whole way. As seen on the video the Range obtained on this test was 49.2 km… this is a record for my YT channel in its five years. It’s also reflective of the 15amp discharge rate of 30Q’s on the Samsung’s, this 18650 design provides an incredible battery option for long-range, suffering very little stress and abuse.
