Today’s Long Range Distance Test of the Tranzite SS. Hybrid Carbon Direct Drive is quite a epic vid, why ? 👍 well as you can see it’s a new channel record of the longest range of any electric skateboard I reviewed in over 5 1/2 years. I know people are gonna say that’s ridiculous how can a 12 S3p do that well I don’t know it did it for me and I was sticking on pretty much 35 to 38 km/h and every main straight the worst of times I was crawling around those little hills and crossing roads but generally I’d say my range was pretty dam accurate.
Today’s conditions are as follows:
* Riider weight 95 kg
* Backpack weighs 4.9 kg
* Outside temperature 32 to 36° temperature
* Wind direction from the south east at 17 km/h
* The route was smooth roads and virtually no elevation

“At first glance the Tranzite Hybrid Carbon is a solid big EBoard coming in with a 10 and 1/2” width and nearly 39” in length it is a Monster of an EBoard weighing in at over 10.2 kg. The carve on these trucks is pretty much near perfection and allows for a deep carve arc with a nice G force applied feeling and hold coming in to position you in well. This is extremely reminiscent of a twin fin Surfboard feel. For a direct drive hub motors of the Carbon SS performs respectfully on reasonably steep hills and is at its best and forte on a flat open areas.
