The Uditer W3 electric skateboard without the handle bars sells for $499.99, and comes with the handle bars for $649.99.
When Uditer reached out to us to make this review video we were excited to try the scooter board concept. The handle bars could be useful for a beginner learning to ride, but for an experienced rider they are not ideal. After a few months with the board we have come to the conclusion that the scooter board is more cumbersome than useful.
The actual skateboard itself is not bad though. The unit that we were sent for review has the older ESC and remote, which has a potentially dangerous braking curve. Uditer has informed us that the newer version comes with an updated ESC and remote. For the price point it has average specs with a top speed of 28 MPH and a range of 15 miles, but the hill climbing ability of the board is not great (it is what you would expect out of a hub motor board though).
One thing that sticks out about the board is the swappable battery on the front enclosure. This was our favorite feature of the board. Overall the board is what you can expect for the price point.
