The size of this board is 104cm by 24cm, that’s 41 by 9.6 inches…
You can see that there is no grip tape on the deck in my hand. You can clearly see there is purple ABS, wrapping around the deck.

The outer layer material is glass fibre, which wraps the whole board surface, which improves the strength of the entire board, making it super tough & hard to break…

The deck is flexible, yet but not too flexible. It not only gives you good shock absorption on off-road roads, but also ensures high-speed stability. Let me jump right on it, to demonstrate. It’s SO great. It has ground breaking shock absorption, which is ideal for bumpy surfaces…

TRUCKS:
The truck design and cornering performance of the Hammer

The Hammer uses the familiar, tried & tested, double kingpin trucks, as from the Ranger, the difference is, that theses trucks are now 10” wide…

The advantage of this structure, is to enjoy the smoothness of carving on the road, but when you make an u turn, the turning circle is very small, the turning dynamic is also extremely precise & planted…

Backfire’s double kingpin trucks use gravity castings, which are six times stronger than most pressed castings on the market, the length of the central steel shaft is 9.5mm, that’s (0.374inches) which is much stronger than our competitors’ shafts… They, are typically 7.9mm, that’s only (0.311inch)

After extensive feedback, from many professional skaters, we have improved the materials and the shape of the entire suspension system, which greatly shifts the dynamic, into a wonderful carving experience…

Can Backfire be used like a normal skateboard when it’s out of power?
Yes, our boards are totally push friendly and will ride like a traditional skateboard when not on the throttle or when there is no battery.

Is my Backfire board waterproof?
The waterproof level of Backfire boards is IP55.
Riding over small puddles will not damage the board, nor will riding in light rain, however never submerge the board in the water and stop riding if the conditions lead to standing water on roads or track.
When you have finished riding in wet conditions it’s important to dry the board off with a rag and then spin the wheels using the motor and remote for two minutes to remove any access water. If the board did go through deeper standing water it may be a good idea to remove the outer case and gentle towel dry any visible water and then leave the board in a warm dry place.
Never leave a wet board upside down in the damp or this can cause the water to bypass the seal and ingress into the electronics. Your remote should also be kept dry and warm after use in the rain.
